After graduating with a BA degree in 1989, I worked at an international corporation as a computer programmer/systems analyst for 13 years. The career was not fulfilling for me and I felt that I was being called to something much different.
In mid-2001 I was introduced to the shamanic journey. Over the next few months I worked with a teacher, experienced my first soul retrieval and journeyed on my own. In early 2002, I sold my home and moved to a cabin nestled in the mountains at 8500 feet elevation near Boulder, Colorado. I telecommuted for four months before resigning from my computer programming position.
Once in Colorado, I continued my shamanic training and healing and also began exploring intuitive drawing and painting. Having taken and practiced realistic drawing and painting for many years, I found it was becoming uninteresting to me. Both the shamanic training and the intuitive art helped me transition from being nearly fully analytical and logical to incorporating the intuitive aspects of myself.
I love being still and being active in the natural world, especially in beautiful and wild places. I've hiked many miles, mostly in the beautiful Colorado Front Range area.
After graduating from college, I continued learning on my own. The topics I chose to study were decided by listening to my own inner guidance. I learned about a range of topics and sifted through it to decide what was relevant to me.
In 2012 I organized an online workshop which brought together eleven teachers including myself. The classes in the workshop assisted women in developing new skills and provided energy healing.
