May we all BE like snow...

This week I combined the directions of an exercise that I had just shared with someone, with an exercise suggestion I was then given in a class (Joanna Powell Colbert’s “Mid-Winter Gaian Soul Practices” which I am totally loving!) and modified them to what felt right to me in the moment.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Walking along a rural road I thought of the exercises and asked in my mind, “What nature being would like to speak with me today?”  

I walked a few steps with possibilities floating through my mind.
Then I felt the intuitive hit – The Snow.
I stopped. Curious, I checked again to be sure.
“The Snow wants to talk with me?”
Looking at the Snow, the feeling of YES came again to my body. Correct!
A feeling of gratitude with a bit of excitement filled me.

The Snow was sparkling in the sunshine.  

A few ice crystals were really bright. 

I also noticed the softness of the shape. 

Walking to a place where I could sit and more easily inquire, I held the gratitude and shared with the Snow that I would like to continue the conversation.   

When I sat and felt into what was being shared with me, the Snow showed me the frozenness of it. 

The SOLIDITY of it.  The STRENGTH.

It also shared with me how it

blesses everything as it falls, with everyone and

everything being an equal recipient of its blessings.  

I again shared my gratitude with the snow and continued to enjoy the sights and sounds of where I was sitting:  Geese, birds twittering and flitting about, the warm sunshing on my face,  

horses wondering about my presence.

May we all be like snow.

Sparkling, bright, soft,

yet solid and strong

blessing everyone and

everything with whom we come in contact.
