Online Class - Partnering with Spirit

In this 5 week class, you will learn how to tap into the spiritual energies of the Universe:
+You will learn to enter the Spirit World and communicate with your Spirit Guides.
+You will learn ways to communicate in a less direct way while still welcoming the power and assistance available to you in your everyday life.

+Begin building a relationship with a loving, compassionate, wise Spirit Guide

+Create confidence by practicing, sharing and supporting others

+Receive inspired action steps for moving forward
+Partner with a classmate for one journey (optional, but highly recommended)

How the class will work:
+Each week (1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13) you will receive an email message inviting you to view a video and/or read content about the week’s lessons.
+You will be given journey intention(s), journaling/contemplation exercises, and other exercises relevant to the topic for the week.
+You will complete the lessons/exercises and, if inspired, share your experiences with the group and interact with others about their experiences. My feeling is that the more you can interact, the more you will receive from the class, however the amount of interaction you do with your classmates is up to you.  Your classmates are assisted by your questions and experiences and you are assisted by their questions and experiences.

+You will receive a .pdf file each week containing content that are yours to keep.

Beginners and Experienced are Welcome:
This class is for you:
If you have never connected with a Spirit Guide and are intrigued and excited about the idea of it
If you have experience connecting to your Guides but want to have more structure, deepen your experience and be in a supportive community
If you want to learn how to tap into the power and assistance of spiritual energies in your everyday life without formally entering into the Spirit world. (i.e. in a journey)

Where it will be held:
The class will be held on a Ning Network site. Ning creates a wonderful atmosphere of community, friendship and support.  You will be invited a few days before class begins on January 16.   The invitation will come in an email message sent to the email address you use when you enroll.

What you will need for class:
+Sacred item or two ( ideas: crystal, feather, photo or small figure of a goddess, angel, animal, etc. Something that is meaningful for you and helps you to relax and open your heart.)
+Writing journal or sketchbook for recording experiences  A spiral notebook works too.
+You may also find an eye pillow or cloth to cover your eyes and block out the light is helpful.
+Music or guided meditations that help you to relax.  I will offer suggestions the first day of class.
Please come to class with a sense of adventure, open mind, open heart and trust. Put doubt and skepticism aside: skepticism about yourself, about the process, about experiences and messages you receive.

Technical Info:
You will need access to the internet with a hi-speed internet connection and the knowledge and ability to receive email messages, navigate around a Ning site, view videos, and read PDF files. NOTE: I am not able to provide technical help to everyone so having the help of friends and family may be needed if you aren’t proficient with the internet and Ning Social Networks.

Safari 4 and 5
Some browers get updated more rapidly. Ning should work well in Firefox 7 as well. You are welcome to use Ning with a browser that is not in this list, however some features on the Ning Network may not work correctly.

NOTE: Because of my experience and background in shamanism, there will be some reference to the shamanic journey. However, the focus isn’t to learn shamanism or the shamanic journey. Rather the focus is to meet a Spirit Guide, begin building a relationship with them, learn some basic concepts about the Spirit World and learn tools to bring the magic into ordinary reality.
