Whole Body Thinking

Whenever an answer, a solution, or a creative idea is needed, stop thinking
for a moment by focusing your attention on your inner energy
field. Become aware of the stillness.

When you resume thinking, it will be fresh and creative. In any
thought activity, make it a habit to go back and forth every few minutes or so
between thinking and an inner kind of listening, an inner stillness.

We could say: Don't just think with your head, think with your whole
body.

Fire Circle

Dear Wild Creative Hearts,

Today is a short "guided imagery" of sorts for you. A little imagination break and something to feed your Wild Creative Heart. So take a few moments to slow down your reading rate, notice your breath and slow that down too.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now imagine:
You are standing in a cave lit by a small fire in the center. Sitting around the fire are people you trust; people filled with wisdom and truth. They could be your spirit guides, totem animals, archangels, ascended masters, goddesses, loved ones who are alive or who have transitioned. Maybe you don't recognize some of them but you sense they are wise.
Get a good picture of this now in your mind's eye. Feel the love and the wisdom emanating from them.
They invite you to join them in the circle. You slowly walk over and sit among them, the fire burning brightly. As you sit there, you feel your body and mind relax. You feel your heart opening.
When you are fully relaxed and ready to take in what they have to say they begin speaking. You are able to understand easily what they are saying, or if not, know that your subconscious is taking it all in.
They take turns sharing with you the things for which they are most proud of you. It might be something you did for someone. All you do for others. Something you did for yourself. It could be that they are recognizing you for how far you've come. How much growth you have experienced. Your kindness. How you always do the best you know how.
Listen.
What are they saying? What are you hearing them recognize? What positive qualities?
They ask that you recognize yourself for all your positive qualities. Take notice of the little things you do for others and for yourself. Honor yourself for your commitment to your transformation. Honor yourself for your desires. And honor your desires. Recognize the gifts that you carry within you and honor those.
You continue feeling the wisdom and love that is surrounding you in the fire lit cave.
Are you taking notice of how incredible you are?
Please take a few moments to notice incredible you!
Namaste,
Lisa
When it's TIME, it's TIME!
Dear Wild Creative Hearts,
Well, it turns out that my Wild Creative Heart really enjoyed the outing on Sunday, however short it was! I think I started something. Today I found myself, without much thought at all, heading back up to the mountains. But this time it was a sunny, warm day. This time I was prepared with having my snowshoes available!
Funny how ALL winter I've been wanting to get up to the mountains and nothing has worked out. Trying to get together with friends, or even planning something alone didn't work! Sometimes things just take awhile. And then it's TIME. And NOW it is!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So this is the famous Long's Peak. The 14,200 (and some) foot mountain that I climbed last September. I've been pondering the thought of learning more technical climbing in order to summit during the winter. What'dya think?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And here are some more peaks that weren't visible on my snowy Sunday adventure.
Creative Process Tip: Sometimes it's just not time. Sometimes you just have to trust the process that what is happening is what needs to happen right now, even if it's not what you want to be happening. Like little adventures in the mountains. Or writing a book. Or something else you are creating or would love to create in your life.
Here's to sunshine, snow and beautiful views. I was feeling so deeply grateful today that I live where I do and that my body takes me to these wonderful places.
Happy Adventuring!
Lisa
